Poet Gold, a multi-disciplinary artist, shares poetry that offers a soul-searching insight into human existence, love, dreams, challenges, and triumph.

Former NY Dutchess County Poet Laureate, Poet Gold’s recent book, “Be The Poem: Living Beyond Our Fears,” encourages individuals to live life as if they are a living poem, with intention, purpose, and gratitude.


Poet Gold, or as she is affectionately known as, “Gold”,  is the recipient of numerous awards which include the Empire State Federation of Women’s Clubs, Inc. (Hudson Region) 2025 “Trailblazing Award,” 2024 Arts and Culture Grant, 2022 Empowered Artist Award, Dutchess County Executive’s Artivist Award and the Dutchess County Athena Award honoree. She has served as Keynote speaker for the New York State Staff Curriculum Development Network (SCDN) for English Language Arts (ELA).


Poet Gold is sought out nationally for performances, speaking engagements, and non-traditional poetry workshops elevating the connection between literacy, goal setting, and the achievement of dreams.


She is the co-host for the iHeart Radio show and podcast “Finding Out with Pete and The Poet Gold.”  Her distinct voice is co-featured in the poetic short film “Blueprint for My People,” by award-winning director Carol Bash.
