
Shawn Bridget Hull
Shawn Bridget Hull is a sculptor and poet. She works exclusively with porcelain to articulate personal narratives and metaphors which create dialogue between artist, material, and viewer. Shawn Hull has been working with ceramics since 2009. Although primarily self taught, Shawn is currently pursing a Post Baccalaureate certificate in Artisanry, Ceramics at University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth with an expected completion in Spring 2025. Shawn’s art practice centers around the exploration of how nature and people impact one another and the rituals and relationships between people and nature. Prior to working in clay and fine arts, Shawn Hull worked in theater as a director, actress, and educator. Shawn holds a MFA in Dramatic Art from UC Davis and has been the Artist in Residence at Delaware Theater Company, and an adjunct theater Professor at Cecil College, MD and Wesley College, DE.
